    輸送機的保養與維護是一項極其重要的經常性的工作，它應與極其的操作和檢修等密切配合，應有專職人員進行定期的檢查與維護，結合實際經驗,日常維護應從以下幾個方面來進行：

    1.軸承 輸送機的軸承擔負機器的全部負荷，所以良好的潤滑對軸承壽命有很大的關系，它直接影響到輸送機的使用壽命和運轉率，因而要求注入的潤滑油必須清潔，密封必須良好。主要注油處（1）轉動軸承（2）軋輥軸承（3）所有齒輪（4）活動軸承、滑動平面。

2.新安裝的輪箍容易發生松動必須經常進行檢查。

3.注意輸送機各部位的工作是否正常。

4.注意檢查易磨損件的磨損程度，隨時注意更換輸送機被磨損的零件

5.放活動裝置的底架平面，應除去灰塵等物以免輸送機遇到不能破碎的物料時活動軸承不能在底架上移動，以致發生嚴重事故。

6.輸送機軸承油溫升高，應立即停車檢查原因加以消除。

7.轉動齒輪在運轉時若有沖擊聲應立即停機檢查，并排除故障。

8. 運行過程中嚴防鐵塊、大塊硬物等混入槽內，以免損壞機器。

9. 定期檢查所有螺栓聯接的緊固程度，如發現松動應及時擰緊。

10. 經常檢查和調整驅動皮帶或鏈條的張緊度。

11. 定期檢查所有安全保護裝置，確保它們能可靠工作。

皮帶輸送機：

是一種摩擦驅動以連續方式運輸物料的機械，廣泛應用于礦山、冶金、煤炭等部門，根據輸送工藝要求，可以單臺輸送，也可多臺膠帶輸送機組成或與其他輸送設備組成水平或傾斜的輸送系統，以滿足不同安排形式的作業線需要。皮帶輸送機又稱膠帶輸送機，目前輸送帶除了橡膠帶外，還有其他材料的輸送帶（如pvc、PU、特氟龍、尼龍帶等）。
