瓦斯簡介

瓦斯為生活帶來便利但亦能輕易奪取人類的生命，由於民生之必需，人類的生活必須仰賴瓦斯，瓦斯雖然方便，但若不當使用或因一時疏忽，都將造成無法彌補的遺憾。

瓦斯洩漏的危險性 :

● 液化石油氣氣化後之重量約為空氣之１．５倍，因此漏氣時，易滯留在低處或角落。空氣中混入１．８％至９．５％的液化石油氣，遇到火源便會產生燃燒或爆炸。 
● 天然氣比重較空氣輕，漏氣時，易往上飄散。空氣中之 天然氣含量達５％至１５％之間，遇到火源即會引起燃燒或爆炸。

瓦斯的來源

瓦斯是一般對氣體燃料的通稱，事實上，目前臺灣地區瓦斯的主要來源係分為液化石油氣與天然氣二大類。

一 、 液化石油氣

● 液化石油氣由原油煉製或天然氣處理過程中所析出的丙烷與丁烷混合而成，在常溫常壓下為氣體，經加壓或冷卻即可液化，通常是加壓裝入鋼瓶中供用戶使用，故又稱之為液化瓦斯或桶裝瓦斯。

二 、 天然氣

● 天然氣俗稱天然瓦斯，由瓦斯公司敷設管線直接供應用戶使用，故又稱之為導管瓦斯或自來瓦斯。

● 天然瓦斯係古生物遺骸長期沈積地下，經慢慢轉化及變質裂解而產生之氣態碳氫化合物，其主要成份為甲烷，並含有少量之乙烷、丙烷、丁烷等碳氫化合物及少量之不燃性氣體。

Gas
