由于輸油泵機組容量偏大，其流量和儲油罐液位控制均采用人為節流調節控制等因素，造成了該生產工藝系統運行效率不高、設備易損件故障頻繁和“大馬拉小車”等現象的發生，這不僅嚴重浪費了能源，而且影響油井的正常生產和原油產量的完成。為此我們于2005年初提出了在30kW的CSY11-2油氣混輸單螺桿泵上推廣應用了森蘭SB70G變頻器進行調速控制，安裝了質量可靠的變頻調速設備，以解決生產中的諸多實際問題，見到了良好的現場使用效果，取得了顯著的經濟效益和社會效益。
二、控制方案
新灘油田162油氣混輸站和191油氣混輸站油氣混輸泵機組的變頻調速技術控制方案采用了閉環控制或開環控制方式，閉環控制與開環控制方式分別如圖1﹑圖2所示，以滿足現場生產工作的需要。
2.1現場生產工藝流程
162站管理著7口油井，油井來油先進入2.7米高的40方儲油罐，經加熱后由30kW的CSY11-2油氣混輸單螺桿泵將油井產出物輸送至幾十公里外的油氣接轉站。191站生產工藝流程與162站基本相同，目前管理著5口油井，油氣輸送距離比162站更遠。
2.2閉環控制應用技術方案
在40方儲油罐上安裝帶4～20mA模擬信號輸出的浮球液位計，將液位信號給變頻器，變頻器在接收液位計信號后與變頻器設定值比較，采用PID調節控制算法，通過變頻器輸出頻率的變化來自動調節和控制儲油罐的液位高度，達到節能降耗和油井生產平穩運行自動控制的目的。儲油罐的液位控制高度為1.6米。
