屠宰廢水呈紅褐色，有腥味，含有大量血污、皮毛、碎骨肉、蹄角、油脂和內(nèi)臟雜物。COD_Cr 、BOD₅ 、氨氮、SS等指標(biāo)均較高，如COD_Cr600~6000mg/l、BOD₅ 300~3000 mg/l、SS 400~2700mg/l。BOD₅/COD≥0.5，可生化性優(yōu)良，無毒性。屠宰廢水受其生產(chǎn)過程的影響明顯，其水質(zhì)水量波動范圍較大。
